Synopsis
Regisseur Eva is net vijftig geworden en vraagt zich af hoe je tijd definieert.
Samen met haar jeugdige ik gaat ze te raden bij die mensen die een belangrijke rol spelen in haar leven. Personen die allen hun eigen worsteling hebben met ‘tijd’.
Lilith, de zus van Eva, heeft het gevoel dat tijd haar heeft ingehaald.
Ze heeft de kans om moeder te worden en een gezin te stichten gemist.
Door de loop van haar leven is het er niet van gekomen.
Dit besef komt soms hard binnen en daarom stort ze zich op haar zelf gecreëerde gezin; haar paard en hond.
Nadine, een vriendin van Eva, heeft door ernstig nierfalen een nieuwe nier nodig.
Ze wacht tot ze stabiel genoeg is voor de transplantatie.
Tot dat moment staat de tijd voor haar helemaal stil.
Allard, Eva’s vader, is bijna 80 en heeft niet meer zoveel tijd.
Hij heeft als hobby een fotoherkenningsgroep die bestaat uit 75- plussers. Ze bekijken oude foto’s om plaatsen en personen van vroeger te herkennen. Zo houdt hij vast aan het verleden en gaat terug in de tijd.

Synopsis
Director Eva has just turned fifty and wonders how to define time.
Together with her youthful self, she examines those people who play an important role in her life.
Persons who all have their own struggle with ‘time’.
Lilith, Eva’s sister, feels that time has overtaken her.
She missed the opportunity to become a mother and start a family.
It just never happened during the course of her life.
This realization sometimes comes in hard, which is why she plunges into her self-created family; her horse and dog.
Nadine, a friend of Eva, needs a new kidney due to severe kidney failure. She is waiting until she is stable enough for the transplant. Until then, time has stopped completely for her.
Allard, Eva’s father, is almost 80 and does not have much time left. His hobby is a photo recognition group consisting of people over 75 years old. They view old photos to recognize places and people from the past. This way he clings to the past and goes back in time.
This is my graduation film from the Documentary Directing course at the Amsterdam Film School.
